About Sitehemlockhub
Registered Business
Sitehemlockhub Mining Review Co. is the official registered business name operating this practice. We are incorporated in South Korea and maintain our assessment studio at Office 8, 21 Example-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 00000.
Established 2018
Sitehemlockhub began in 2018 when two former datacenter cable technicians noticed a wave of sub-0.2 TH/s ASIC units marketed directly to desk-side buyers. Lease disputes in Gangnam and Seocho followed—mostly noise complaints and tripped breakers. We formed to document what these machines actually do in conditioned office air, not in factory test chambers.
By 2020 we had published twelve reference assessments covering units from 0.05 TH/s through 0.18 TH/s. Building managers in the Seoul metro began requesting our thermal maps before approving rack installs. Today we focus exclusively on compact hardware and small-office constraints.
What We Do
We measure, photograph, and report. Our technicians carry sound meters, clamp meters, and logging thermometers calibrated annually. We do not operate a mining pool, resell ASIC inventory, or provide investment advice.
Working Approach
Every visit starts with your constraints: breaker label, lease clause on equipment noise, and hours when staff are present. We test against those limits before discussing hash rate optimisation. Reports use plain language so facilities teams and founders can share the same PDF without translation layers.
Values
- Evidence over hype — Published numbers come from our meters on your circuit.
- Neighbour awareness — Acoustic readings include corridor positions, not just beside the rack.
- Lease realism — We flag clauses we have seen enforced in Korean commercial leases, without pretending to offer legal counsel.
Team
Jae-won Park — Lead field technician, former IDC rack installer, specialises in acoustic baffling for open-plan suites.
Eun-ji Han — Thermal analyst, HVAC trade background, authors our seasonal load guidance for Seoul summers.
Tomás Ríos — Report editor and English-language liaison for international tenants in Gangnam towers.
Relationship to Clients
Most clients are first-time office miners or small funds testing a single rack before scaling. We stay engaged through email follow-up for thirty days after each report to answer clarifying questions about our measurements.
